MiniPD Coach Engy Olama

Engy is a certified Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction Trainer and Presenter by Lynn Erickson. She has worked in the education field for 13 years. She has had various teaching and leadership roles in IB PYP and American Schools. Inquiry, conceptual thinking, and backward planning are part of her daily personal and professional practice. In her leadership roles, she has led the curriculum writing process, the implementation of inquiry/project-based learning, and she has designed assessment systems that align with the local and international requirements. She coaches teachers and teams in developing their teaching and learning practices to ensure that students' agency is the driving force of learning. She is also a certified Happiness Coach. Part of her passion is to promote happiness and wellbeing in schools through enhanced teaching and learning.

MiniPD Coach Ali Ezzeddine

Ali Ezzeddine is an educational consultant and trainer in various educational fields. He is a certified international trainer from Lynn Erickson Institute to lead concept based workshops and international educational consultant for the International Baccalaureate Organization. He is an experienced primary educator and fluent in Arabic, French and English. Aside from teaching, he loves children’s literature and is a published author. He visits schools to lead training, consult with faculty or just to share his writings with the students.

MiniPD Coach Slim Abed

Slim Abed is an Arabic language teacher and author. He graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Humanities and Social Sciences in Tunis. He has worked in Tunisia as a teacher since 1996 and led the Arabic language departments in international schools in different Arab countries such as Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. He is also an International Baccalaureate examiner. He is currently the head of the Arabic language department at the American International School Kuwait, an educational consultant for several Arabic platforms, and a coach at Faria's MiniPD. He is interested in researching children's literature and fiction, and has a collection of published articles and stories.
